When I saw this very nicely made puppet (the one on the right in case you were wondering) in Germany this summer I immediately thought, crikey, it's Debbie McGee. As I doubt very much that anyone in Germany knows who Debbie McGee is I don't think it was modelled on her, although I couldn't be entirely sure, it's just too spookily similar.
And talking of Debbie McGee, who remembers that hilarious interview with Mrs Merton and THAT questions: "What first Debbie attracted you to the millionaire Paul Daniels?".
