Zahlteller

You will find a Zahlteller (payment plate) in most German shops, kiosks, bakeries, butchers, well anywhere where there is a till. 

But you don't have to have a shop to want a Zahlteller, it also makes a very useful little plate by your front door to leave your keys, coins and anything else you have rattling in your trouser pockets in. It's slightly curved and has four rubber feet which stops it from sliding about and makes picking it up again very easy. Clever eh. 

Made in Germany from high quality melamine.
