Schuco Piccolo VW T1 Kicker
Teeny tiny little cars.
'Piccolo' (which means 'small' in Italian) is exactly what these little miniature cars are. First introducted in 1957, they were amongst SCHUCO's first attempts into the die-cast model car market. These solid metal (and heavy) cars are accurate, yet mildly cartoonish at the same time. They have since become collectors items and if you are, like me, an avid watcher of the Antiques Road Show then you will be familiar with the name SCHUCO as one of Germany's best known toy manufactures.
Piccolos are solid cast metal without plastic windows or interiors but with functioning wheels.
