1980‘s Meissen Albrecht Dürer Plaque/Medal

A superb Meissen brown porcelain plaque/medal  depicting Albrecht Dürer‘s iconic Praying Hands, according to Wikipedia the most widely reproduced depiction of prayer in the Western world and Justin Bieber has it tattooed on his left leg. I just googled it so you don‘t have to: He has! 

It was produced in the late 1980s by the Meissen Porzellan Manufactur and has the iconic two crossing swords mark on the reverse, as well as an indentation for hanging it on the wall. 

Made in Meissen (Germany) from brown porcelain.
