THE classic hiking backpack, made from heavy cotton canvas with premium Italian leather. Inspired by the vintage mountaineering rucksacks of the 1970s. It's the most popular model, named after the highest peak of Hungary, the Mátra.
The backpack features soft felt lining on the leather straps and an inner laptop compartment that fits a 13" Ultrabook or Macbook Air, two smaller pockets, and a zipped pocket in the top flap. The backpack closes with an adjustable rope and two leather straps with metal buckles.

YKRA (pronounced eek-rah) was founded by designer Balázs Lakatos from the basement of a bar in downtown Budapest in 2011, with the goal of creating a vintage style hiking backpack for everyday use.
YKRA make long-lasting quality products that have the look and feel of a bygone era using a thick and durable cotton canvas originally made for tents. Inspired by the hiking culture of 1970’s eastern Europe, their canvases come in a variety of vivid colours.
